Domestic Maid Insurance
It is strongly recommended to have Personal Accident insurance coverage for your Indonesian domestic maid, as it is required by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Malaysia. Since March 2023, the Indonesian Embassy has set a minimum sum insured of RM30,000 for domestic maid Personal Accident insurance coverage.

While it is not mandatory to have Hospitalization & Surgical Scheme coverage for Indonesian domestic maids, it is highly recommended. This scheme can cover many exclusions of Personal Accident insurance, such as certain illnesses and sicknesses.
