For the maids who overstayed or did not renew permit in time (not more than 30 days), we can help to apply for Special Pass with the Foreign Worker Department (Bahagian Pekerja Asing) and subsequently apply for Check Out Memo to return to home country or apply for work permit renewal.

For the maids who overstayed or permit expired more than 30 days, they must apply the special pass over the counter through Enforcement Department (Bahagian Penguatkuasa). Usually the applications with Enforcement Department need much longer time to process, can take up to several months for the whole process to be completed.
Special Pass + Check Out Memo
For maid who overstayed not more than 30 days and need additional time to depart the country, need to apply Special Pass + Check Out Memo (SP + COM). Most of the acceptable reasons include: Planning to Leave the Country, Passport Renewal in Process, Flight Rescheduled etc. In most of the cases this process can only be done over the counter in the immigration department.
Special Pass + Permit Renewal
For maid whose permit expired not more than 30 days and wish to apply for permit renewal, need to apply Special Pass first, and subsequently apply for Permit Renewal. Most of the acceptable reasons include: Medical Result Pending, Medical Result Appealing, Passport Renewal in Process etc. In most of the cases this process can be done via the Immigration Department Online Portal (e-PLKS) provided that the employer has already registered an account on the portal.
